Job Description:
The Human Resource Manager will manage all the fundamentals of
HR (benefits, compensation, compliance, etc.) while focusing on
employee development, recruitment and retention, and on boarding.
You will spend the majority of your time problem solving and
coaching managers and staff, providing guidance and supporting
their efforts, developing and implementing an on boarding program
and recruitment and sourcing efforts to hire high performers and
retain them. You have the confidence to hold effective, well
thought-out discussions and coaching sessions with all levels of
staff. You will implement a well-defined performance management
program that is tied directly to our core values, competencies, and
organizational strategy. You will work with managers to develop
performance reviews, and review performance data for trends, gaps,
and other valuable information. In addition to laying an HR
foundation, you will oversee administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
?Manage all benefits and annually review policies for cost
effectiveness.
?Lead, facilitate, and participate in organizational
development/effectiveness and full employee life cycle to include
recruiting, on-boarding, talent management, strategic development,
and compensation/incentive recommendations.
?Develop new human resources concepts, techniques, and standards
for the organization.
?Serve as a resource for managers on employee relations issues and
resolution; performance management; measures and reporting; team
and skill building initiatives; and talent management and
development.
?Design and implement the full range of HR policies required to
recruit top talent, and maximize staff performance and morale.
?Develop, recommend, document, and implement personnel policies and
procedures.
?Conduct recruitment and retention processes that attract and
retain key talent and maximize employee performance.
?Conduct new employee orientation; oversee on boarding program as
well as exit interviews.
?Partner with managers to meet business goals and objectives.
?Coach and mentor executives and senior managers to effectively use
the full range of HR tools (performance, compensation, training and
development, mentoring, coaching, etc.) to maximize team
benefit.
?Assist with staff development, needs assessment, and training.
?Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying
out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
?Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
?Oversee office management functions and IT.
Qualifications
?Master?s degree preferably in human resources, or business
administration
?Relevant 10-12 years? experience includes minimum 5 years senior
leadership experience.
?Sound knowledge and understanding of strategic HR processes,
benefits, compliance, and laws, including federal and state
regulations.
?Stellar interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Demonstrated employee relations skills, including conflict
resolution, alternative dispute processes, and facilitation
skills.
?Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
?Strong interpersonal skills to interface effectively at all levels
of the organization.
?Strong problem solving/analytical skills to investigate and
formulate recommendations and action plans.
?Strong organization and project management skills.
?Appetite for fast-growth environment.
?Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
