Vice President, Applied Data ScienceWe are looking for a Vice President, Applied Data Science to be part of a successful data science team in a high-growth environment. This person will lead a team tasked with developing advanced analytics solutions to help clients measure and optimize the impact of their marketing and communications activities, including experimentation, media mix modeling, regression and Bayesian based methods and causal modeling.Curious and creative. You possess a talent for clear, persuasive communication, effectively engaging others and demonstrating the value of your solutions.You have hands-on experience developing data science solutions from concept to production using open-source tools and modern cloud computing platforms.Statistically-minded. You have built models, validated them and back tested them. You know how to interpret a confusion matrix or a ROC curve. You have experience with marketing mix modeling, causal modeling, Bayesian analysis, multivariate and time series analysis and A/B testing. Solid understanding of fundamental statistical concepts (probability, multi-variate testing), experimental design, and measurement methodologies, particularly marketing mix and regression-based techniques.Experience with analytics and data science methodologies designed to evaluate marketing ROI or ROAS.Excellent communication skills with a history of building and maintaining internal and client relationships.Experience leading highly successful teams.Essential Qualifications:Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.Excellent communicator with good presentation skillsSolid knowledge of advanced machine learning techniques (ex.
