Job Description:
Overview: Prominent Baltimore County client seeks a Human
Resource Manager to play a crucial role in providing
executive-level leadership and strategic guidance. Collaborating
with other HR Managers, this position ensures that HR operations
align with the organization's goals and compliance standards. The
Manager oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of
human resource policies, procedures, and best practices.
Responsibilities: Partner with executive leadership to define,
support, and align the organization's long-term mission, strategic
goals, and objectives. Provide expert guidance and leadership
within the company, assisting in resolving HR-related concerns,
including compensation and benefits. Ensure HR initiatives are
effective, efficient, and support overall business objectives. Lead
recruitment, interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, counseling,
and discipline of staff. Develop and implement competitive
compensation, benefits, performance appraisal, and employee
incentive programs. Define and manage onboarding processes that
align with the company's culture. Oversee daily HR operations and
systems, including payroll, workers' compensation, FMLA, COBRA,
performance evaluations, new hire onboarding, benefits, and 401k
retirement plans. Design, maintain, and update job descriptions.
Provide HR advice, counsel, and decision support to management.
Drive initiatives that foster employee growth, development, and job
satisfaction. Assist in resolving employee grievances and disputes.
Support and advise on employment termination decisions in line with
company policies. Develop, update, and enforce HR policies,
procedures, methods, and guidelines. Promote and uphold
organizational values. Ensure compliance with all employment,
benefits, insurance, safety, and related laws and regulations. Stay
informed on employment law, HR best practices, and talent
management trends. Design and implement company policies that align
with business objectives. Lead HR efforts during acquisitions,
mergers, and expansions, including due diligence, system
integration, talent assessment, communication, and post-acquisition
onboarding and training. Participate in professional development
and networking opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in
a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR
management. Professional HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or
SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred. Employment Type: Full Time Years
Experience: 10 - 15 years Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 Annual
