• Certification Details
• Cert Required: BLS
• ACLS Required for RN/LPN working in ICU, CCU, ED, PACU, and Tele units
• PALS Required for RN/LPNs working in ED or Pediatrics
• As required by unit description: NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure, TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course, EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• Required based on unit description: NIH Stroke Certification
• Certification not required for OR/Surg Techs

  • Pending DC license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date

  • Skill Required: IV start and Phlebotomy
  • Skills preferred: Charge Nurse Experience
  • 2 Years Minimum Experience Required
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • Scrubs not provided: any color
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
  • Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must.
  • RTO during a contract will not be approved for greater than 8 days and this must be scheduled so that the traveler can still work his/her full 36 hours/week.
  • RTO in between the ending of one contract and the beginning of another will not be approved for greater than 7 days.
  • This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine
