A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse in the Manassas VA 20109 area. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.***Looking for LPN's with experience giving vaccines***Licensed Practical Nurse HoursThis is starting at 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours, and may require floating to other nearby locations and working rotating weekends and some major and minor holidaysMust be flexible to work any day of the weekHours of Operation are 7 days a week:M-F is 8:30-7:30 with 1 hour lunchSat is 9-5:30 with 30 min lunchSun is 9-4:30 with 30 min lunchLicensed Practical Nurse CompensationThe pay for this position is $33.79 per hourBenefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employmentA 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility datesLicensed Practical Nurse ResponsibilitiesLPN to work in primary care settings with ages 18 months and olderProvide holistic, evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients. This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection ( STI ) Prevention and safer sex practices.Administer immunizations and injections (to include but not limited to COVID19, influenza, TB) and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection servicesAssess patients during intakeTake vital signsPerform diagnostic tests such as EKG , Retinopathy screeningPerform Point of care testing (including COVID testing)Perform patient registration and intake, assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experienceHelp meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activitiesLicensed Practical Nurse RequirementsLicensed LPNPrevious experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education.Ability to take vital signsBasic Life Support ( BLS ) certification, including but not limited to performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator ( AED ).Pass a FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.Previous experience with EPIC Electronic Medical RecordIf you are interested in this Licensed Practical Nurse Opportunity, please apply to this posting with resume or contact Silvana at 847-450-6511 or email me*Please apply with resume or send to smanzella@alinesttaffing.com need resume for consideration*
