  • IR/CATH LAB TECH - 40 HRS DAY M-F
  • Shift: Days 7-1530 PM//40 hours weekly
  • START DATE: 11/5
  • On Call: Call every other week Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1530-2200 and Saturday 0800-1600
  • Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday
  • Special Procedures: Scrub for IR, vascular, and pain procedures. Ability to work with specific equipment.
  • Skill Required: Interventional Radiology, PACS, Angioplasty, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement, Liver Biopsy, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Stent placement, Thoracentesis, Catheter/drain exchange, Internal/external biliary drainage, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Ureteral Stent Placement, Carotid Angiography, Discogram, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Dialysis Graft interventions (fistulograms/declots), Endovascular Interventions, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines), Accurate monitoring, Equipment set up, Perform EKG lead placement, Prep access site, Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, Scrub- maintain sterile field, Equipment expertise, documentation system experience
  • Skills Preferred: Computed tomography, Ultrasound, IV starts
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
