We are currently seeking a skilled and board-certified Ophthalmologist to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA. This position is specifically for Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs) and offers a flexible scheduling arrangement. Cases will be referred to you based on your availability, allowing you to choose the assignments that align with your schedule and decline those that do not. . Key Responsibilities:

• Review Medical Records : Thoroughly review and analyze patient medical documents related to ophthalmic conditions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each case.
• Conduct Physical Exams : Perform in-person evaluations and examinations of patients with ophthalmic issues to assess their condition and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Address Clinical Questions : Effectively respond to clinical queries from insurance carriers regarding ophthalmic matters, offering expert insights and recommendations.
• Prepare Reports : Deliver detailed IME reports within an expected turnaround time of 5 days, providing a comprehensive overview of the patient's condition, examination findings, and professional opinions. Key Features:
