Position Overview QinetiQ is looking to hire an experienced Logistician / Transport Operator to support logistics and transport operations for our Fort Belvoir, VA customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the organization and transport of technical equipment and supples between various test locations throughout the United States. This is a full time, on site position, and the selected candidate will be responsible for the following: Responsibilities * Transport equipment and supplies in government vehicles and trailers to test locations such as FT AP Hill, Camp Roberts, Yuma Proving Grounds, and others * Perform Inventory on program assets * Organize program assets * Prepare materials for data collection shipment, with responsibility for both the physical preparation of materials and any associated paperwork * Pack and load equipment into transportation vehicles * Provide test support for equipment * Set-up and tear down of equipment Required Qualifications * An Active DOD Secret or higher level security clearance #qinetiqclearedjob * The ability to obtain, or a current Gov Driver's License and the ability to drive the following vehicles: * Pickup truck with trailer * GMV * Hilux * HMMWV * Must be able to physically lift and load equipment and supplies on to vehicles. * Willingness to travel up to 50% to various locations in the United States * Former military experience is preferred and the ideal candidate would be able to obtain or have had, previous Range Safety Officer Training Company EEO Statement Accessibility/Accommodation: If because of a medical condition or disability you need a reasonable accommodation for any part of the employment process, please send an e-mail to or call (540) 658-2720 Opt. 4 and let us know the nature of your request and contact information.
