Description:Primus Aerospace is a leading manufacturing partner to aerospace, defense, and space OEMs, Primes, and Tier I suppliers. Key Responsibilities Previous CNC Operator experience: mill turn and latheGD&T print readingKnowledge of calipers, micrometers, metrology.Experience with machine set-ups.Ability to indicate vices.Coordinate x, y, zKnowledge of machining principles.Operate CNC machines from provided work instructions from work order or set up personnelVerifying dimensional characteristics of partsMeet expected cycle times and production scheduleCompletion of all required paperwork in a timely mannerRequirements:Previous CNC Operator experience; Min. of 4 yearsPrevious set-up experience; Min. of 1 year Reading blueprints and using hand toolsPrioritizing tasks and maintaining production goalsSelf-starter with a good attitudeAttention to detail and a strong desire to produce quality productsExperience in a manufacturing environment utilizing lean manufacturing techniques is preferredPrevious experience in Aerospace or defense machining environment preferred.Ability to obtain secret security clearance highly desirable Our work environment is fast-paced and professional while providing continued growth fostered by our commitment to teamwork.
