Job Description:

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Plumber in our Hughes Network Systems division to assist engineers with the preventative and corrective maintenance of plumbing systems. This position will be located in our Germantown, MD office.


Responsibilities:

Assist workers engaged in installation, repair, and service of plumbing systems.
Ability to cut, bend, fit, thread and join piping and tubing practices.
Manage temperature controls systems.
Perform general facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
Travel within the Germantown/Gaithersburg area to support our three (3) facilities in Montgomery County
Core Hours M-F, 8 am - 5 pm; Be "On-Call" which rotates for one (1) week approximately every four (4) weeks

Requirements:

High School Diploma
Journeyman Plumbing License
3-5 years of experience with knowledge of troubleshooting, service, and repair techniques to commercial plumbing fixtures
Current valid driver's license.

Essential Qualifications:

Must have the ability to climb ladders
Lift up to 60 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

CFC Certified
Service truck experience highly preferred
