BC Building Science seeks a Building Envelope Consultant to join our successful team in Victoria - Vancouver Island. The primary role involves field review and testing services for new construction and renovation projects.What to expect from us:

  • Diploma or bachelor's degree in building envelope or construction technology preferred.
  • Minimum one year of building envelope related experience.
  • Experience with local construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to work independently and on-site at client locations.
  • Skilled in technical writing and have excellent communication skills - written and oral.

      • Review building envelope aspects of the construction of new buildings and renovation of existing buildings.
      • Provide enhanced field review and field performance testing services.
      • Provide building envelope commissioning services.
      • Collaborate with the energy and commissioning services team.
      • Communicate and correspond with related parties including Developers, Contractors, and Architects.Salary range: $50,000 - 70,000 annually.
