based out of Washington, DC with the willingness to travel to VA
and SC. They primarily serve the Federal Government but also
undertake projects in municipalities, universities, hospitality,

my client is dedicated to transforming the built environment
through renovations and upgrades. Focusing heavily on MEP and HVAC
systems, with potential integrations of solar panels and
microgrids. With a team of about 50 employees, they primarily serve
the Federal Government but also undertakes projects in
municipalities, universities, hospitality, and data
centers.DescriptionMy client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent
with substantial experience in the construction industry,
particularly in MEP Projects:
- Manage daily field operations to ensure project milestones and
deadlines are met
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain
project schedules and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company
policies
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintaining detailed
reports
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to
address and resolve any issues promptly
- Uphold a culture of teamwork and excellence on the job
site
- Ability to travel to current projects in Virginia and South
Carolina, eventually settling down in DCProfile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent supervising or
performing heavy mechanical, electrical and plumbing work.
Including new construction and retrofit applications such as
chiller installation, industrial spec AHU replacement, boiler work,
duct demolition and replacement, etc.
- Experience with government projects
- Proven track record of running jobs from cradle to grave
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including
reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related
drawings
- Proficiency in PlanGrid, Ranken, and Bluebeam highly
preferred
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to maintaining high safety and quality
standards
