Ship Integration & Test (SI&T) Lead Senior Design Engineer/
Integrator joining our team to support the Program Executive Office
for Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) activities.At GDIT, people
are our differentiator. As a SI&T Lead Senior Design Engineer/
Integrator supporting PEO IWS, you will be trusted to bring
together a multi-disciplinary team that is geographically dispersed
to provide engineering planning, design, integration, installation,
and test of Aegis Combat Systems (ACS) onboard ships
post-construction and during maintenance availabilities. This
senior position will be tied to both Program Management and
Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the
development and integration of the technical products (Space
Arrangements, Electrical Products, HVAC impacts, Electrical
impacts, Electronic Cooling Water impacts, etc.) that in total
represent a complete Technical Data Package (TDP).Specific
responsibilities include:Interface with the government sponsor to
take direction on products requiring development and keeps the
government POC informed of progress and TDP delivery datesOrganize
design team resources to ensure effective production of goods
and/or servicesProvide work direction, resolves problems, prepares
schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of
workPrepare reports and records for the government as
requiredManage the development of TDPsIntegrate the products into a
complete TDPInterface with the government sponsorPrepare reports
that provide a status of TDP developmentsEnsure all components of
the TDP are being developedWHAT YOU'LL NEED:A Bachelor of Arts or
Science (BA/BS) in the relevant field and 10+ years of experience
as a Design Engineer/Integrator for large ships (or 15+ years of
experience without a degree)Ability to work collaboratively as part
of the larger GDIT Navy and Marine Corps SectorA US DoD Secret
security clearance is required.US Citizenship is

likely salary range for this position is $128,242 - $173,504. This
is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather,
salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and
possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this
